Does Skipper sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Skipper uses iCloud (CloudKit) to sync between your devices automatically — no separate account required. Your data is yours, on your devices.
Do I need an internet connection to use it?
No. Skipper works offline by design — boats live in places without LTE. Updates sync next time you're connected.
Will Skipper work with twin or triple outboards?
Yes. Each engine gets its own hours, its own maintenance schedule, and its own service records. Twins, triples, generators — Pro supports as many as you have.
What boats does Skipper support?
All of them. Outboard, inboard, sterndrive, sailboat, PWC, RIB. We pre-fill the right maintenance schedule for each type — and you can add anything custom.
Will my service history really add value at resale?
Yes. Marine surveyors openly say a documented history is worth 10–20% more, because no records means no proof of care. Skipper produces a branded, surveyor-grade PDF you can attach to your listing.
Does Skipper integrate with my engine's telematics?
Not in v1. We're focused on building the best general-purpose maintenance log first. Mercury VesselView, Yamaha/Siren, and Garmin OnDeck integrations are on the roadmap.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Anytime — directly in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We don't add friction. If you ever want out, you're out, and your data stays on your device.
Do you store my data on your servers?
No. Skipper has no backend. Your data lives on your device and (optionally) in your iCloud — we can't see it, and no third party can either.
